What actually happens to my phone?
At the start of the experience, the Out of guides show you how to safely switch off mobile data, Wi-Fi and notifications. It is a guided ritual, not a remote lock, it stays your phone, you stay in control, and you can switch everything back at any moment.
Do I have to switch everything off?
Only the things that pull you elsewhere. Calls and anything you genuinely need stay reachable, the point is presence, not deprivation. You decide how far you go.
How do I join a trip?
Pick the trip here and sign up. Closer to the date we send you everything you need to take part, where to meet, what to bring, and how the weekend runs.
What about emergencies?
Nothing is blocked at the system level: calls still work and you can turn everything back on in seconds. We keep a reachable phone among the guides, and we share that number with everyone before going offline.
What data do you collect?
Your profile and the trips you join. There is no GPS and no location tracking, being offline together is the whole point, so there is nothing to follow.
Who will I meet?
People who made the same choice you did. Connections happen in person, on the trip, and nothing about them is public, they are simply yours to keep.
